SPECIAL SUMMER CONCERTS
The James River Council of the Arts (JRCA) has selected our church santuary
as the concert site for its two summer concerts. They are scheduled as follows:
Wednesday, June 25: A concert by the Mr. Jerfferson's Bones trombone quartet. This concert features the brass trombone in a diverse program of music from the Baroque to the contemporary era.
Wednesday, July 30: A piano concert by the pianist Nicholas Pellon. Pellon will play his recital on the church's new Kirk Brown Memorial Piano.
Concerts start at 7:30 p.m. There will be no charge, but the JRCA does welcome contributions. A reception in the church office will follow each concert.
The JRCA has selected our church as the concert site because of the superb acoustics of our building. We provide an ideal setting for the performance of good music.
